And now the wave of retailers set to offer the Asus Eee Pad Transformer are being revealed one by one. The latest buzz going around is that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer will be made available through Best Buy, offering the Asus tablet for $399.99. Said to be a tablet that could give the likes of the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom some stiff competition, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer does come with some modest but impressive specs. Among them include innovative specs like a keyboard dock which should turn the tablet into a notebook of sorts. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer also comes with a battery that can render up to 16.5 hours of useful life. Other specs seem to be as expected with the likes of a front-facing 1.2MP camera, a 5MP rear camera and of course running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
After officially launching the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, it looks like this latest tablet set to be offered in the market could give other tablets a run for their money. This is a 10.1” Tegra 2 tablet that comes with an optional keyboard and a detaching, battery-toting keyboard dock. It may not be as slim as the iPad 2 or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but its design can really throw you off guard. It has a mini HDMI 1.3a along with a microSD card reader, and there are stereo speakers, a microphone, headset jack and a proprietary socket for the keyboard dock. It also has the standard cameras (front and back) and the needed connectivity like WiFi and Bluetooth , all powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM and either a 16GB or 32GB flash storage. Check out the video for a more detailed first impression on the Asus Eee Pad Transformer below. Read

So much attention has been given to the imminent coming of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, let us take a look at this high-end netbook called the Asus N53Jn. The netbook is reportedly made to compete with the likes of the HP Envy or Dell XPS although its specs leave a lot to be desired. It is packed with a Blu-ray drive, Bang & Olufsen audio and weighs only 2.9 kg. It offers a 15.6” (1366×768 pixel resolution) screen, an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a GeForce GT 335M graphics to render better graphics and video. And of course, this laptop will come with the usual ports: two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and a combo USB/eSATA port, HDMI (at the side) and VGA (at the back), an SD Card slot that supports the latest SDXC cards (up to 2TB), plus gigabit Ethernet, separate headphone and microphone jacks. All this and some apps installed, the Asus N53Jn does seem formidable. Would you care to try it out over the other high-end netbooks in the market?
