Asus Eee Pad Transformer Gets First Impressions

After officially launching the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, it looks like this latest tablet set to be offered in the market could give other tablets a run for their money. This is a 10.1” Tegra 2 tablet that comes with an optional keyboard and a detaching, battery-toting keyboard dock.

It may not be as slim as the iPad 2 or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but its design can really throw you off guard. It has a mini HDMI 1.3a along with a microSD card reader, and there are stereo speakers, a microphone, headset jack and a proprietary socket for the keyboard dock. It also has the standard cameras (front and back) and the needed connectivity like WiFi and Bluetooth , all powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM and either a 16GB or 32GB flash storage.
